A Chinese club is also run weekly where culturally based activities are done. These may include anything from Chinese dance to paper cutting. Pretoria Chinese School also involves itself in the betterment of the Community and PCS Pride takes this initiative in offering students the opportunity to become involved in several outreach programmes. These include The Santa Shoe Box initiative, assisting under-privileged schools, Houses of Safety , the aged, and Wet nose animal sanctuary. To better Leadership skills, all Grade 12 students are involved in a mentorship programme. Grade 8s form part of this initiative and the Grade 12 assigned to each Grade 8 guides and leads them holistically through their first year at College. A model of servant leadership is followed.
